ArmInfo. Armenia has all the prospective for the further growth of export potential within the framework of EEU. Such an opinion was stated by expert Ashot Tevikyan, the member of Eurasian Expert club at the round table session dedicated to the Role and the Place of EEU in Multipolar World.
He justified his statements with some statistic data: for instance, the Armenian export volume for 2016 totalled USD 1482, 6 mln, increasing for 19,7% in one year versus the same period of 2015, and the export grew for 50,4% (forming USD 418 mln). According to Tevikyan , the growth of these indicators was secured at the cost of the export growth to Russia. Such indicators do inspire the optimism. Tevikyan justified the reasons of the Armenian export growth with following factors: signing the Agreement with EEU, cancellation of customs fees, simplification of all the procedures, Russian Ruble becoming sustainable by late 2016, gas prices decrease, and the export of goods secures the maximum growth of GDP and is the key factor for creation of new jobs.
Tevikyan mentioned also that an intensive capsulation of joint criteria is in progress in EEU. To mention, the round table was organized by Integration and Development, Scientific Educational Foundation of Noravank, Eurasian expert club, national foundation of social programs of Russian Federation.
