Lebanese businessmen and Armenian partners are discussing the prospects for implementing two investment programs in the healthcare sphere and setting up an enterprise for the production of household products. This was announced by Lebanese Business Planning Minister Michael Pharaoh at a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on April 28 in Yerevan.
According to the press service of the Armenian government, the prime minister expressed hope that the visit of Pharaoh will give a new impetus to the Armenian-Lebanese relations, development of business ties and increase of trade turnover between the countries. Karen Karapetyan noted the existing potential for the development of economic interaction in the context of cooperation within the framework of the FEZ on the border with Iran and the prospects for ensuring access to the markets of the EEU through Armenia.
In the opinion of the prime minister, health, pharmaceuticals, mining industry, renewable energy, etc. can be promising spheres for the Armenian-Lebanese cooperation.
