ArmInfo. Canned food, jams, and juices of "Tamara Fruit Armenian enterprise were exported to the United Arab Emirates, with the aim to supply Armenian organic products to the UAE 5-star hotels.
According to DFA Development Fund press-service, deliveries were made within the agreement between "Tamara Fruit" and enterprises signed at the forum "Armenia-UAE", organized by Abu-Dabi Chamber of Commerce.
According to the source, Arabian partner has already ordered 15 containers of Armenian organic products, which will be distributed in the UAE under the NOHF (Natural organic healthy food) label. "The quality and price of the products of this enterprise meet the requirements of the Arabian market" -" Hamad Al Shahey , the executive director of "Al Falaj" stressed.
Newly appointed DFA Director Armen Avag Avagyan, export line director Hayk Mirzoyan and the head of the department on industry development of Armenian Economy Development and Investment Ministry Armen Eganyan visited Tamara Fruit storages, followed export process, discussed possible problems and new cooperation programs with the director of the enterprise Boris Hovhannisyan.
"The Fund will continue to promote export development, as this is one of the locomotives for Armenian economy development,"Avagyan said. From his side, Boris Hovhannisyan added that the "Armenia-UAE" forum promoted process's acceleration.
"This is one of the important results of the conducted forum. And we continue to undertake steps directed to export markets' diversification", Eganyan said.
