ArmInfo. On May 19, Armenian prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and Richard  Mills, ambassador of US to Armenia discussed Armenian-American economic agenda.  Ambassador Mills congratulated the prime Minister  due to re-election.

According to the information shared with ArmInfo at the press office of the Government, Karen Karapetyan and Richard Mills referred to  bilateral economic agenda, discussed the issues of investments involvement, omprovement of business environment , reforms in tax, customs and legal sectors, and corruption struggle. Armenian prime Minister and American ambassador referred also to the sectors of energy, toruism, IT and others.

According to the national Statistics service, the annual trade turnover between Armenia and USA in January- December 2016 formed USD 126,9 mln with annual dropdown for 21%, particularly the export formed USD 38,8 mln with annual dropdown  for 26,7%, and import for USD 88,1 mln with a dropdown for 18,2%.
