According to the presidential press service of the Armenian, Araqelyan reported that this year works continued to provide fertilizers, diesel fuel, seeds, and subsidized loans to users of the land at affordable prices, and new programs were launched at the expense of the saved funds aimed at development of the sphere.
In his turn, the President of Armenia instructed to promote the export of competitive agricultural products, the replacement of the main imported agricultural products with analogues of local production, the modernization of the park of agricultural machinery and the mechanization of agricultural work, the provision of equipment on leasing terms, as well as targeted programs to increase the incomes of rural households and improve efficiency Works.
Acting minister was also instructed to develop special targeted programs with a clear timetable for implementation and continue working towards providing the rural economy with affordable resources for the introduction of drip irrigation systems and anti-hail systems, implementing programs to stimulate the creation of intensive fruiting gardens.
Araqelyan spoke about the programs implemented by the Armenian Viticulture and Wine Foundation, which will provide an opportunity to ensure the development of viticulture and winemaking, improve the quality of wine production, raise the prominence of Armenian wines and stimulate exports.
The minister's report also included the current and expected results of programs to implement insurance systems, regulate the procurement process, implement the forest protection service program, and protect and effectively use fish and crayfish stocks in the Lake Sevan basin; work carried out in the direction of programs to stimulate livestock breeding, seed production and seed production.
