ArmInfo. The Armenian State Revenue Committee (AGC) stopped an attempt to import milk powder from Azerbaijani production, the head of the department Vardan Harutyunyan stated in a conversation with journalists on June 27 in the country's parliament. At the same time, according to Harutyunyan, there is no official ban on Azerbaijani goods in Armenia, but, as an Armenian, he is against that.
According to the head of the tax and customs service, the employees of the Committee, due to the fault of which the Azerbaijani apples had previously entered Armenia, "are now in the appropriate places". Today, customs structures exercise strict control over imported products. As the chairman of the SRC (State Revenues Committee) reminded, the employees of the department recently stopped the attempt to import a number of goods of Azerbaijani origin, in particular, salt and milk powder. The products are sent under examination, and all the guilty will be punished, Harutyunyan assured.

With respect to a number of employees of the Criminal Investigation Department, criminal proceedings were instituted on the fact of receiving a bribe. "I feel our share of blame, but at the same time, we have identified the guilty, but everyone has a share in the blame: who imported the apples, who took the bribe, and who sold them," the Vardan Harutyunyan, head of the SRC , said on May 11 Press conference. Recently, the KGD at the checkpoint "Bavra" stopped the import of a number of goods of Azerbaijani origin, in particular, food salt and tea.
