ArmInfo. In January-June of 2017, the number of consumers connected to the gas distribution network of Armenia increased by 4160, the press service of ZAO Gazprom Armenia reports. According to the source, the total number of subscribers by the current situation was 683,581.
At present, 624 localities use natural gas in the republic, of which 579 are rural and 45 are urban. ZAO Gazprom Armenia is a 100% subsidiary of PJSC Gazprom, ensuring the supply and sale of natural gas in the domestic market of the republic. As part of the Gas Transportation System (GTS), 1,682.2 km of main gas pipelines and gas outlets are served. As part of the gas distribution system, 14,902 km of high, medium and low pressure gas pipelines and auxiliary facilities are currently serviced.
