Expressing gratitude to the company "I-V Consulting" and the research center "Economics and Values" for the development of the report, the Prime Minister considered it a good tradition to organize such a platform for discussions and analysis of problems in the social and economic life of the country and to find the right directions for their solutions. Karen Karpetyan noted that the fourth industrial revolution is now widely discussed at global sites. "We are open to the processes taking place in the world, and for us the question of our participation in these processes will be very urgent.
We do not care about the impact of the fourth industrial revolution on our lives, and what we need to do is to understand these challenges. Moreover, in order to maximize the use of positive results and opportunities," the prime minister said. In this context, he touched upon the government's programs. "When forming the appropriate environment, we can achieve competitiveness, efficiency, increase reproduction, and disclose new talents. This should give us an opportunity to understand our place and role, as well as our benefits in the new reality. I consider it necessary to point out the steps taken by the government in the context of the problems raised in the report. In the new government program we plan to implement the strategy of innovative development of the country and develop a road map that will enable us to have a clear and long-term development program based on the application of innovative technologies," Karen Karapetyan said. In addition, it is important to develop mechanisms for attracting business these innovative technologies will involve at least two authoritative organizations in order to form research laboratories. It is planned to create new technology centers, which will enable to stimulate engineering business and education, improve innovative infrastructures and assist in the commercialization of the education system, and also to increase the cooperation of scientific institutions with business. The government intends to mobilize the resources of the state and the private sector to achieve the goal.
