The Deputy Minister of Agriculture visited the village of Artashavan, which suffered from hail

ArmInfo. The Deputy Minister of  Agriculture of Armenia Ashot Harutyunyan visited the village of  Artashavan in the Aragatsotn region on July 13 with a briefing on the  site of the hail damage to local farmers.

"Fortunately, this time the hail was less damaging compared to  previous cases, and did not do much damage to farmers, although there  are areas where the damage is significant.As in other communities, an  oblast commission will be formed in the village of Artashavan, which  will include Employees of the regional administration.The commission  will carry out calculations, and if the damage is more than 50%, the  Ministry of Agriculture will apply to the government for help, "the  deputy minister said..

According to the press service of the ministry, in the course of the  works it was found out that in the village of Artashavan the crop of  blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, legumes and grain crops, as  well as apple orchards, suffered from the hail.

According to Ashot Harutyunyan, according to information received  from the regional administration of Vayots Dzor region, the city also  traveled through the village of Zaripat in this area, and a  commission was also established to determine the degree of damage to  crops.
