It is planned that as a result of the activities for 2017 in the annual report of the World Bank in a row of 150 states, our country will improve its position by 12 Points. Armenia last year improved its position by 5 points and took the 38th line. It was noted that the measures are being taken to simplify the administrative procedures required for starting and developing the business, to improve the indices of SME stimulation, to protect investors, to obtain construction permits, to permanently introduce electronic systems, access to credit, property registration, and provision of infrastructures.
Prime Minister Karapetyan demanded from the responsible to show strict consistency in the implementation of activities and to maintain feedback from the business community with a view to discussing issues of concern to entrepreneurs and finding solutions to problems. "We need to start work on developing a program of measures to improve Armenia's business environment for 2018, starting discussions with all interested parties," the prime minister said. According to the government's program of activities, Armenia, in the context of the next 5 years, claims to be in the top 20 out of 190 countries of the world in the rating of the World Bank Doing Business.
When implementing complex measures to improve the business environment of Armenia, it is expected that, with all other equal conditions, through the envisaged activities aimed at alleviating the administrative burden for business, reducing corruption risks, increasing the transparency of services provided to the private sector by moving them to the online site , And improvement of the legislative base, in the Doing Business index the republic will rise from the 38th place and take the position among the first 20 countries of the rating.
