ArmInfo. Russia increased natural gas supplies to Armenia in the first half of 2017 by 33% per annum to 1,088,491 thousand cubic meters with an increase in value by 24.4% to $ 163.3 million. At the same time, natural gas supplies from Iran, on the contrary, decreased by 1.4% to 183937.8 thousand cubic meters with a decrease in value by 12.1% to $ 27.6 million.
As a result, according to the data of the Customs Service of Armenia, 1272428.8 thousand cubic meters were imported to Armenia in the first half of the year 2017 natural gas (with an annual growth of 26.6%) with a total value of $ 190.8 million (with an annual growth of
17.3%).
According to the source, deliveries of liquefied gas in the annual section increased 2 times to 2807.4 tons, with an increase in customs value 2.2 times to $ 1.1 million. In particular, imports of liquefied gas from Russia increased 2.4 times to 2685.3 tons with an increase in value in 2.7 times - to $ 1 million, and from Iraq - by 3.9% to 122.1 tons with an increase in value by 19.6% to $ 61 thousand.
