ArmInfo. The supply of Russian natural gas to Armenia has been resumed. This was reported by the public relations and mass media relations department of ZAO Gazprom Armenia.
"On September 2, at 13:15 pm, the supply of natural gas to Armenia resumed, which was temporarily suspended from August 3 in connection with the construction of the main gas pipeline "North Caucasus - Trans Caucasus" in the territory of Georgia, "the ministry said.
To note, Gazprom JSC Armenia, which is a monopoly supplier and distribution of natural gas in the country, is a 100% subsidiary of JSC Gazprom. The gas transportation system of the Republic of Armenia, operated by "Gazprom Armenia" JSC, includes 1,688 km of main gas pipelines and branch gas pipelines. As part of the gas distribution system, 14,400 km of high, medium and low-pressure gas pipelines and auxiliary facilities are currently in operation.
