ArmInfo. Within the framework of the visit to Seoul, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of Armenia Vahan Martirosyan met with representatives of the IT-sphere of the Armenian community of the city in connection with participation in the Forum on Global Infrastructure Cooperation (September 4-6).According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Transport, Vahan Martirosyan, in particular, met with young Armenian specialists - employees of Samsung, among whom there is a student of the Faculty of Transport Security of the University of Korea. Young Armenians told the minister about their successes in the company. The head of the Ministry of Transport expressed his readiness to support young specialists if they want to implement programs in Armenia. He also offered to Armenian specialists cooperation in the framework of the project on the development of a monitoring system for traffic flow in the cities of Armenia.

During the meeting the terms of reference of the Ministry in the field of IT, mechanisms for supporting projects were also presented.The Armenian government approved the technical assignment for the republican transport network on July 20. "Based on the adopted terms of reference and the specified requirements, a unified network will be created," Minister of Transport, Communications and IT Vahan Martirosyan stated in a conversation with journalists.  According to Martirosyan, the project is still damp.  Within the framework of the project, the study and development of a route network for each of the regions will be planned. According to Vahan Martirosyan, in the process of planned reforms, it is also planned to increase the level of control over the sphere. "At this stage, a system of transport management is being developed that will allow monitoring through the online monitor the traffic and the timetable for their movement," the minister explained.

 To date, as the minister said, more than 100 communities in Armenia do not have a transport connection, both because of the condition of the roads, and because of the low passenger traffic. Earlier, in April this year. the Ministry of Transport stated that a program for the development of the road network of Armenia for the next 5-7 years has been developed, according to which the annual amount of investments required in the annual section for operation and full maintenance of road safety will amount to 90 billion drams.
