ArmInfo. In Armenia, it is necessary to record the objects of unfinished construction. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetian made a similar request on September 7 at a government meeting.
According to the prime minister, in numerous settlements of the country, in particular, in large cities of the republic - Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor - in the city there are numerous unfinished buildings and abandoned land plots in private ownership. In order to avoid negative impact on the environment, in order to create favorable conditions for economic development, stimulate investments in this area, and to form an attractive tourist environment, the prime minister instructed the chairman of the State Committee for Urban Development, governors and the mayor of the capital to make an inventory of all unfinished buildings within a month. In addition, within two months, it was entrusted to submit proposals to the Government of Armenia about the further fate of these structures in accordance with the current legislation.
It should be noted that in the territory of Armenia and, in particular, in the capital of the republic, there are numerous buildings and construction sites that have been privatized, transferred to private ownership and are in a very orphaned state. This trend was especially evident after the crisis of 2008-2009, when the country's construction industry fell dramatically and still can not recover in previous volumes.
