According to the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Suren Karayan, within the framework of the investment program it is planned to create 12 permanent and 44 seasonal jobs. The products will be exported to the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
"AND" was established in 2014, engaged in gardening and beekeeping. The company cooperates with leading European horticultural and beekeeping organizations, uses advanced technologies in the production of its products. In particular, in apple orchards on the slope of Ishkhanasar (1,800 m above sea level), where the seedlings from Europe took root, a drip irrigation system is used, anti-hail nets are installed. In the field of beekeeping, the company cooperates with German and Danish organizations that produce funds and equipment for breeding bee colonies. The company's apiaries are on the slope of Ishkhanasar mountain and in Karvachar. According to the data of the Customs Service of Armenia, in 2010 Armenia exported 10.5 tons of honey, reducing the exported product by 12.5%, while revenue decreased by 37% to $ 91.4 thousand. Meanwhile, Armenia increased the volume of imported honey by 22% to 16.1 tons, increasing the customs value 2.3 times to $ 39.8 thousand. The bulk of exports falls on the United States (63%), the United Arab Emirates (13.3%) and Russia (10.5%). And almost all the import of honey falls on Russia (95.6%).
