This was reported to the Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on September 14 during his visit to Aragatsotn and Shirak.
As the press service of the government reports, the enterprise, which produces a wide range of cheeses for about 20 years, plans to increase the volume of milk purchased two or three times within the expansion program. The prime minister greeted the implementation of the investment program and called for discussion with the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment, noting that the government has the necessary tools for assistance.
Karen Karapetyan also visited the opening ceremony of the Aghavni Crafts Center in Gyumri, which will open its doors from the next academic year. The project was implemented with the assistance of the "Oundjian" charitable foundation, which for the past 20 years has invested about 7 million USD in various projects in Gyumri.
Then the head of the Armenian fireplace visited the course of works on the overhaul of the Rustaveli street in Gyumri, implemented as part of the development program of the historical center of Kumayri.
To note, the amount necessary for the restoration of the Kumayri complex is $ 200 million, so a decision was made on the phased implementation of the program, which will begin with the restoration of the Gyumri streets Rustaveli and Shiraz. Before the start of the project, a corresponding fund was created, and a manager was appointed. The first contributor to the fund was Karen Karapetyan donating 500 thousand dollars. In the investment program, in addition to the restoration of the Kumayri reserve, the plan for the reconstruction of the Shirak airport is also included. An investor from Argentina will undertake the implementation of the project worth 10-million.
