ArmInfo. Armenia will be represented at the international competition Seedstars World in Switzerland, the start-up Chessify, which was recognized as the winner in the Yerevan round. The second and third places in the Yerevan tour were taken by Inapptics and Breedge.
The main partner of the Seedstars contest in Yerevan was VivaCell-MTS, and the silver partner - Ameriabank. The Swiss embassy in Armenia, the Center for Innovative Solutions and Technologies, and the representative office of Microsoft in Armenia also supported the organization of this tour.
As the press service of the Bank told ArmInfo, the start-up Chessify demonstrated at the contest the author's application, which enables to photograph the task from the book on the phone, digitize and work on this by moving game pieces and visually more easily imagine further steps. Currently, this application has more than 100 thousand downloads. At the international start-up competition Chessify, in addition to the opportunity to demonstrate its product to potential investors and partners, will compete in the global final for the main prize - $ 1 million of investments.
Note that Seedstars World - the world's largest competition of technology start-ups in emerging markets. The global finals take place in Switzerland, in which the best start-ups from 80 countries of the world participate in the local rounds of this competition.
