ArmInfo. Armenia, as the first Christian country, intends to organize a pilgrimage of representatives of the Polish Catholic Church and the John Paul II museum. Armenian Ambassador to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan told ArmInfo on the sidelines of the Armenian-Polish business forum on October 4 in Yerevan.
According to the Ambassador, Armenia can attract a European tourist as its centuries-old history and good traditions, as well as rich cuisine. In addition, they may be interested in religious tourism.
The project of pilgrimage to Armenia - the first Christian country in the world is planned to be implemented during 2018. "We already have a preliminary agreement, it remains to resolve the issue with Polish airlines to provide special discounts," said Ambassador Ghazaryan.
