The Ministry of Finance of Armenia discussed on October 5 issues of the entry into force of the Tax Code, in particular, on the possibility of postponing the entry into force of the document. The discussion took place at a meeting of the public council on improving the policy of state revenues.
According to the press service of the Finance Ministry, proposals to postpone the entry into force of the Tax Code from 2018 to 2019, as well as issues of a possible revision of the procedure for calculating tax liabilities for judicial and extra judicial confiscations and bankruptcy, the taxation system for real estate and vehicles, and revision of income tax rates were discussed.
As a result of the discussion, it was decided to continue work on the revision of the procedure for calculating tax liabilities for judicial and extra judicial seizures and bankruptcy. At the same time, the Council considered it inexpedient to change the real estate tax and vehicles, as well as the revision of income tax rates.
