ArmInfo. Within the framework  of the international exhibitions signed agreements  for deliveries from Armenia jewelry products worth $ 1.2 million, the  Development Fund of Armenia reports, with the assistance of which  five Armenian companies took part in the exhibition.

According to the source, 6 agreements were concluded, mainly with  Russian partners, 16 more agreements are under discussion. The  production of Armenian jewelers was also presented for  non-specialized visits, within the framework of which an agreement  was reached on the supply of jewelry worth $ 34 thousand.

"The Arab market is also of serious interest for us, Armenia intends  to present its products as a single pavilion at the exhibition of  jewelry in Dubai, and negotiations were held in Moscow to provide the  republic with better conditions," said the head of the Armenian  Development Fund Marcos Azadyan According to the National Statistical  Service of Armenia, in January-August 2017 precious metals worth 29.5  billion drams were produced in Armenia, which is 40.3% higher than  the results in the same way . On the previous year's period, the  volume of exports during the period were $ 188.5 million, with an  annual decline of 20.3%, and imports, by contrast, increased by 54.7%  - to $ 149, 7 million.
