From "Sayat-Nova" branch of Converse Bank, the robber rendered currency equivalent to 95.750 million drams

ArmInfo. From the "Sayat-Nova" branch of Converse Bank, the robber rendered currency equivalent to almost 95.750 million AMD. This was reported by the Department of the RA Investigation Committee, referring to the preliminary calculations.

According to preliminary data, the person who committed this crime, on October 9, about 11:00 broke into the bank's branch and, threatening to blow up the office, demanded from the manager a large sum, and taking her away.

The Investigation Department of the Center and Nork-Marash administrative district of the Yerevan Department of the RA Investigation Committee initiated a criminal investigation into the armed assault on the manager of the Sayat-Nova branch of Converse Bank. The case was initiated on the basis of the clause of the 1st part of Article 175 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (Robbery committed for the purpose of theft of property in especially large amounts).

The necessary investigative and operational-search work is carried out to identify the circumstances of the incident and search for a robber. Other details at this stage of the investigation are not subject to disclosure.
