Converse Bank to sponsor third annual Yerevan Semi Marathon

ArmInfo. Converse Bank will sponsor the third annual Yerevan Semi Marathon, which will be held on October 15. As the press service of the Bank told ArmInfo, the marathon is held on the initiative of Yerevan Municipality under the motto "Healthy Lifestyle".

Semi-marathon will be open to all lovers of the race - beginners and professionals, adults and children. The distances are designed taking into account all these features - 1 km for children, 10 km for beginners and 21.1 km for more experienced athletes. The race will be organized at the highest professional level, timekeeping will be carried out on the high-precision MYLAPS system, which allows to ensure absolute reliability of operations and accuracy of results. The Yerevan half marathon is certified by the Association of International Marathons (AIMS), which confirms the compliance of the route with the international standards AIMS.

For those who will take the first three places there are cash prizes, but all participants of the half marathon will receive sports jerseys and medals, regardless of the results. There are also team nominations "The biggest team", "The biggest children team", "The fastest team", "The fastest children team", "The team with the best sponsors."

"The idea is very close to Converse Bank, which regularly conducts events promoting a healthy lifestyle, financing and organizing sports competitions," the Bank said in the statement.
