ArmInfo. Minister of Territorial Administration and Development David Lokyan, Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Pyunik Fund Levon Sargsyan and Director of Kachar Technopark LLC Zhora Sargsyan signed the Memorandum of Cooperation.
According to the memorandum, the subordinated property of these ministries in the regions of the republic will be transferred to the Pyunik Fund and Kachar Technopark LLC for free use. The organizations, in turn, undertake to establish technoparks in the specified territories, and to conduct courses on high technologies. They will carry out works on landscaping of their territories, and will also provide the Centers with appropriate equipment.
According to David Lokyan, the first technopark will be created in the Kotayk city of Hrazdan, where there will be refresher courses for at least 300 young people. "We have a list of 30 cities that should be included in the program," the minister said, stressing that in case of successful implementation, the project will be expanded.
According to one of the founders of "Kachar Technopark" LLC Armen Manukyan, they are tasked with preparing highly qualified personnel for European markets. "The goal of the program is training high technologies, as well as providing employment in the technoparks themselves: a person will physically be in the territory of the technopark, but work in a virtual field for American and European markets," he explained.
In addition, according to Zhora Sargsyan, within the framework of the program, young people will have an opportunity to conclude a labor contract for three years. "We strive to provide young people with promising work," he said.
