"Last year, our export to Russia in the field of agriculture increased by about 40%, this year, the figures are slightly lower, but above 35%." Speaking about trilateral economic cooperation between Russia, Armenia and Iran, taking into account the possibility of the Eurasian Economic Union, Sargsyan recalled that Armenia established a free trade zone with the consent of the EAPC member countries right on the border with Iran - in Meghri, and considering the fact that with that There is also a free economic zone operating here, of course, there are great opportunities. "We are negotiating with the Iranian side on the signing of a free trade agreement within the framework of the EEA, I think that the negotiations will reach an effective conclusion, and we will sign the agreement," the Armenian President noted. According to him, the terms of signing are possible in the coming months.
