ArmInfo. In Armenia, there is a need to simplify the procedure for obtaining permits for the use of limited resources. On November 2, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan announced this.
According to him, at present, when obtaining business permits, business entities are required to access limited resources - renting public premises, using water esources, etc., for which they must obtain permits, quotas and other documents , for which they apply to state and local authorities. Meanwhile, the results of the research carried out by the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) show that often when providing permits there are no uniform and clear conditions, and the provision of documents often depends on the position of state and local authorities.
The prime minister believes that this practice adversely affects the business environment.
"Therefore, it is necessary to develop new mechanisms to simplify these processes, increase efficiency and create equal conditions for entrepreneurship," Karen Karapetyan said. He instructed the heads of state structures and heads of local authorities to conduct an inventory of all such cases in cooperation with the SCPEC for two months, on the basis of which to submit to the government a new procedure for the provision of these documents, as well as draft legal acts.
