ArmInfo. Revenues of Armenia's communication sphere in January-September 2016 amounted to 107.7 billion drams, declining by 5.8% year-on-year (against the decline of 8.5% a year ago). According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the telecommunications segment, dominating in the communications sector (94.2%), provided revenue of 101.5 billion drams, reducing it by 6.6% per annum (against the decline of 8.3% a year ago).
According to the statistical data, only for September 2017 the total revenue of the communications sector decreased by 4.6% - to 12.1 billion AMD. Moreover, the telecommunication segment provided revenue of 11.5 billion AMD, cutting it by 5% in the reporting month. On an annual basis (September 2017, by September 2016), communications revenue declined by 2.5%, while in the telecom segment a 2% decline was recorded.
