ArmInfo. The actions of the employees of the Committee on State Revenues of Armenia against commercants is a real terror. The NA deputy from the "Tsarukyan Bloc" fraction Naira Zohrabyan stated this at the regular meeting of the National Assembly on November 14.
She said it is not permissible when tax officials conduct searches at markest, carrying out checks in bags of merchants who are trying to earn a piece of bread. The actions of the committee's employees will lead to another wave of migration of thousands of citizens of the country, the deputy believes, calling attention to the need for inspections in order to replenish the budget at the facilities of Armenian oligarchs. In particular, according to the deputy, it is necessary to pay attention to the activities of the company "Gazprom Armenia", whose representatives are building luxurious mansions in Victory Park.
Another representative of the faction, Vice Speaker of the Parliament Mikael Melkumyan pointed to the fact that there are already clashes between tax officials and traders. Meanwhile, the State Revenue Committee does not pay enough attention to the "shadow" turnover in monopoly companies. For example, in CJSC "Gazprom Armenia" there are no investments in reducing technical and commercial losses, which have been for 7-8% for a long time. And this, according to the deputy, leads to a loss for the budget of more than $ 150 million. "That's where it is necessary to collect taxes, and not to rip off the last skin from the traders," the vice speaker said, expressing the faction's intentions to set up an investigative group to study the situation in the sphere gas supply.
Earlier it was reported about the current tense situation at the fairs of the republic. So, recently in the shopping center "Arinch mall" there was a clash of employees of the tax service with local traders. Traders note that employees of the tax service require providing documents on the movement of each imported goods, which, they say, is unnecessary paperwork, and this requires the involvement of additional workforce. Earlier, the head of the committee Vardan Harutyunyan in his conversation with journalists noted that the actions of the tax service are aimed at reducing the "shadow turnover". "Taxes must be paid by everyone," Vardan Harutyunyan, former head of Gazprom Armenia, said at the time.
Note that the discontent of Armenian citizens is caused by the fact that Armenia's gas monopoly acquires Russian gas on the border at a price of $ 150 per thousand cubic meters, reselling it on the domestic market is almost twice as expensive.
