The Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Economic Issues discussed the new Customs Code of the EAEU

ArmInfo. The Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Economic Affairs chaired by Khosrov Harutyunyan discussed the draft law on ratification of the agreement on the new Customs Code of the EAEU on November 22 at a convened working meeting.

As the press service of the Parliament reports, at the suggestion of the chairman the commission discussed the first four sections of the CC.

Representatives of public organizations, teachers of ASEU attended the discussion.

According to the agenda, Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) under the Government of the RA Vakhtang Mirumyan, who detailed and reasonably presented the draft of the new Customs Code of the EAEU.

The reporter noted that according to the decision of the Constitutional Court, the EAEU CC is in compliance with the RA Constitution.

In response to a question from one of the participants in the debate, the deputy chairman of the SRC noted that there are no significant differences between the EU CC and the EAEU CC, since both documents are drafted in accordance with international laws and treaties.
