In 2017, the own revenues of the budgets of the communities of the Aragatsotn district of Armenia will amount to 1.254 billion AMD, which will surpass the figures of 2016 by 114 million AMD or 23%. This was announced on November 24 by the Governor of the district Ashot Simonyan at a meeting with Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan.
He assured the head of the Armenian government that the pledged indicator would be fulfilled by 100%. Ashot Simonyan also informed that in 2018 own revenues of budgets of the communities of the region will increase by 20-25%.
According to the press service of Armenian Government, in the first 10 months of this year, construction programs worth 27.3 billion AMD were implemented in the region, of which 9.6 billion AMD were spent on the construction of the North-South highway section. By the end of the year, this figure will be brought to 12.5 billion AMD. In general, as the governor noted, in 2017 in the Aragatsotn district planned to carry out construction works amounting to 30 billion AMD.
It is planned to receive 1.573 billion AMD from the state budget for the healthcare sector. Expected revenues from paid medical services were planned at the level of 114 million AMD, however since July of this year this figure increased by 34 million AMD. According to Ashot Simonyan, in 2018, under the paid medical services, it is planned to receive 200 million AMD.
The governor also said that more than 10 investment projects are submitted to the Government of the republic, some of which are fully implemented, and the other part is in the process of implementation. Investment projects are aimed at the construction of a solar power plant, a poultry farm, greenhouse farms, the development of pig production, winemaking, jewelry business, etc.
With the completion of the construction in Talin of a factory for processing rough diamonds, it is planned to create 200-300 new jobs with an average monthly salary of 200-300 thousand drams. In general, the implementation of investment programs will create an additional 1 thousand jobs in the district.
