The State Revenue Committee and Armenian commercial banks will set a schedule for duty on holidays and holidays

ArmInfo. Prime Minister of  Armenia Karen Karapetian instructed to draw up a working schedule for  the Customs Service and commercial banks on holidays and pre-  holidays on November 30 at a meeting of the government of the  republic.

According to him, the conducted studies show that during the holidays  and pre-holidays, the activities of economic entities that carry out  foreign economic activity are sharply intensified, the volumes and  frequency of imports and exports are also increasing, individuals are  more often suppressing the customs border.

The Prime Minister instructed the Chairman of the State Revenue  Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia Vardan  Harutyunyan and the head of the Central Bank Arthur Javadyan to  ensure continuity of customs services provided to business entities  between December 2 and the end of the holidays in January,   establishing duty at customs points, as well as in representative  offices of commercial banks, functioning in the customs area. Recall  that a similar instruction was voiced by the prime minister in  December 2016. In connection with the New Year holidays, the State  Revenue Committee of Armenia established duty in some customs units  on holidays and holidays.
