ArmInfo. On December 7, the Armenian government approved the application of Ararat Wine Factory LLC for exemption from import customs duties on imported technological equipment, their parts and components, raw materials.
As Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Suren Karayan noted, presenting the draft resolution, imported equipment and raw materials will be used in the production of brandy. Within the framework of the investment program, investments in the amount of 3.1 billion AMD are envisaged 85 jobs will be created.
The company intends to invest 3.1 billion AMD in the modernization of production. Within the framework of the investment program, the Government of Armenia postponed the term of payment of the value added tax, credited by the tax and customs authorities for the import of goods for three years. As a result, more than 20 new jobs will be created with an average salary of 162,000 drams in 2017, 185,000 drams in 2018 and 195,000 drams in 2019.
