ArmInfo. The trade turnover between Iran and Armenia rose in the 10 months of 2017 to 211.4 million USD, which is 6% more than in the same period last year, when it amounted to 199.4 million, according to the Financial Tribune.
The export to Iran from Armenia for this period amounted to 66.9 million US dollars, which is 2.3% more than in the previous year. Exports to Armenia from Iran amounted to $ 144.4 million, up 7.8% from a year ago.
Products produced in third countries worth $ 138.9 million were imported from Iran to Armenia, which is 12.2% less than a year ago. Armenia's export to Iran includes meat, paper, steel, mechanical and medical equipment, coffee and mineral water, while Iranian exports to Armenia include natural gas, bitumen, oil, petroleum products, household goods, fertilizers, glass, fruits and vegetables.
The number of tourists from Iran to Armenia during this period increased by 27%, and 15.7% of tourists who visited Armenia were Iranians.
