ArmInfo. For the Office of Pre-Customs Control of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia, the year 2017 was marked by particularly large disclosures in the field of offenses in the sphere of customs, the press service of the department reports. In particular, attempts to smuggle drugs, jewelry and other goods have been thwarted.

According to Gegham Movsisyan, Head of the Department of Pre-Customs Control, the personnel policy of the Committee, as well as its technical equipment, allow proper control over the imported / exported products in Armenia today.  At the same time, customs control is minimized. As Movsisyan noted, as a result of improving customs procedures, the specific weight of the "green path" has increased substantially. This means that the system allows you to issue goods without inspection. Daily on the "green corridor" are about 100 trucks, the whole process takes 2-3 minutes.  In addition, as noted in the Tax and Customs Committee, the technical base of the department in 2018 will be equipped with additional tools - an integrated automated system for controlling cargo transportation. The system will allow SRC in the field of view to cover the entire path of cargo autobolism - from the moment of suppression of the border to the point of its destination.
