The process of state registration of legal entities will be simplified in Armenia

ArmInfo. The procedure for state registration of legal entities should be simplified in Armenia. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan delivered a corresponding instruction at a government meeting on February 1.

According to him, as a result of reforms in this sector, state registration of legal entities is carried out as soon as possible, which is reflected in the Doing Business 2018 World Bank report.

Nevertheless, according to the prime minister, it is necessary to simplify the provisions concerning the grounds for registration of legal entities, to exclude the practice of requiring licenses by various structures, and to expand the availability of digital technologies. Proceeding from the foregoing, the prime minister instructed the RA Minister of Justice David Harutyunyan within two months to develop and submit proposals to the government staff to simplify the procedure for registration of legal entities, their reorganization and grounds for refusing registration.

At the same time, the prime minister considers it necessary to supplement the electronic registration form with the possibility of registering online. Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia Vahan Martirosyan is instructed to submit to the government staff a draft decision on registration of applications of foreign individuals and legal entities in electronic form within 10 days.
