ArmInfo. The list of the largest taxpayers of Armenia in 2017 continues to be headed by Gazprom Armenia (the former ArmRosgazprom), paying 39.7 billion USD to the state treasury or $ 82 million (with an annual decline of 6.4%), of which 181.1 million AMD - on customs duties, 6.9 billion AMD - on direct taxes (including income tax, income tax), 34.9 billion AMD - on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

According to the published data of the RA State Revenue Committee, the top five leaders paid a total of 136.6 billion AMD to the budget through taxes (with an annual growth of 213%), of which 38.6 billion - in direct taxes (including profit tax, tax on income) and 85 billion - on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

The Armenian-Canadian joint venture "Grand Tobacco" retained the second place. In the third place, as well as the year before, LLC Electric Networks of Armenia was located. In fourth place, with the 5th year before, Alex Holdings LLC has advanced. The five leaders are Zangezour Molybdenum Combine, which occupied the 16th position a year earlier.

After them, in the top ten, the company "GeoPromining" (6th position, against the 13th year earlier), the company "C-PSA Oil Corporation" (the 7th position, against the 6th year earlier), the oil flush "Flash" (The 8th position, against the 10th year earlier), JTI Armenia CJSC (the 9th position, against the 14th year earlier), and Philip Morris LLC (10th position, against the 15th year earlier)

Tax payments to the Armenian-Canadian JV "Grand Tobacco" to the budget amounted to 34.7 billion AMD, of which 4.1 billion AMD - on customs duties, 9.7 billion AMD - on direct taxes (including income tax, income tax), 24.8 billion AMD - on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

Tax payments of "Electric Networks of Armenia" amounted to 22 billion, including 85.5 million for customs duties, 13.8 billion for direct taxes, 7.6 billion for indirect taxes.

The deductions of "Alex Holding" LLC in the state budget amounted to 21.4 billion, of which 11.4 billion - on customs duties, 1.8 billion - on direct taxes, 17.1 billion - on indirect taxes.

Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Plant CJSC paid 18.6 billion to the state budget, of which 1.6 billion on customs duties, 6.2 billion on direct taxes, 3.6 billion on indirect taxes.

In 2016 the TOP-5 included Gazprom Armenia (holding the leadership since 2012), JV Grand Tobacco, Electric Networks of Armenia, Vorotan Cascade of Hydropower Plant, and Alex Holding. In total, they transferred 112.6 billion AMD to the budget (with an annual decline of 9.1%), of which 38.5 billion - on direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) and 70.9 billion on indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).
