ArmInfo. Belavia intends to resume direct flights between Yerevan and Minsk. According to the press service of the Civil Aviation Administration of Armenia, this was noted during the meeting of the head of the department Sergey Avetisyan and the Ambassador of Belarus Igor Nazaruk.
According to the information, the parties discussed the issues of increasing the frequency of flights in this direction, as well as strengthening the positions of the Belarusian airline in the Armenian air market.
Ambassador Nazaruk expressed his readiness to render the necessary assistance in the development and expansion of relations in the field of air transportation. Sergey Avetisyan, in his turn, welcomed the intention of the Belarusian airline to resume scheduled Minsk-Yerevan-Minsk flights since March 25 2018, with frequency twice a week. The head of the GDCA expressed hope for the expansion of cooperation.
Belavia Airlines already carried out regular flights from Yerevan-Minsk-Yerevan in 2017 in the summer navigation period. On May 24, 2017, the Belarusian air carrier resumed flights Minsk-Yerevan-Minsk (the last flight Belavia completed on February 4, 2016).
