ArmInfo. The Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, Ignat Arakelyan, left for France on February 22, where he will take part in the 54th international agricultural exhibition Salon International De L "Agriculture (SIA), which will be held in Paris from February 24 to March 4. The exhibition will be preceded by the Forum of Ministers of Agriculture .

According to the press service of Armenian Agriculture Ministry, the forum, in which the agriculture ministers of 20 countries will take part, will be held on February 23 under the motto "Creation of values and distribution of food products". Within the framework of the event, the ministers will discuss issues related to the possibility of increasing the profitability of farms and distribution of profit, food safety, etc.  On the same day, Ignat Arakelyan will meet with the Minister of Food and Agriculture of France Stefan Traver. A meeting of the RA Minister of Agriculture with the representatives of the French Development Agency is also envisaged, during which the programs financed by the Agency implemented in Armenia will be discussed.
