The State Committee for Urban Development of Armenia intends to provide a 15% growth of the sphere in 2018

In particular, N. Sargsyan explained that the growth of the indicators will be conditioned mainly by the increase in the volume of construction of residential complexes, hotels, business centers. Answering the question regarding demand, the head of the State Committee noted that in this case the key role is played by the Diaspora.  <There is always demand, because you can not look at Armenia as a small republic. Yerevan is the capital of all Armenians, and not only those who live in the country. In this sense, my forecasts are always optimistic-realistic, "he concluded.

According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the construction sector in the end of 2017 provided revenue of 416 billion drams with an annual growth of 2.2%.
