ArmInfo. Armenia and Iran signed an agreement on cooperation in the customs sphere. Chairman of the Committee on State Revenues of the Republic of Armenia Vardan Harutyunyan and the Chairman of the Customs Service of Iran, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Forum Asgari, signed the document.
According to the press service of the SRC, the document agreed on the exchange of information on the international movement of vehicles and goods. A memorandum of understanding was also signed, providing for the simplification of customs procedures at the customs borders of each other.
The Iranian partners also presented the basic principles of the EAEU free trade zone and customs legislation. Then the guests got acquainted with the activities of the monitoring center of the SRC, the electronic system, the peculiarities of the activity of the customs service of Armenia.
