Armenian government approved the sale of assets of Nairit-2 CJSC

ArmInfo. The Armenian  government allowed the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural  Resources of Armenia, acting as a 100% shareholder of JSC Nairit-2,  to sell buildings and structures, as well as a site of the chemical  plant located at Artashat Highway 5/1. The corresponding decision was  approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 1.

According to Karen Kahramanyan, Deputy Minister of Energy  Infrastructure and Natural Resources of Armenia, the book value of  the alienated buildings and structures of the chemical plant and the  land plots occupied by them is 10.3 hectares, 114.6 million AMD. At  the same time, the property complex through direct sale will be  alienated for 626.9 million AMD (the assets of an independent  appraiser have been estimated by the independent appraiser) of A-S  Investments LLC.

As the representative of the Ministry of Energy pointed out, the  planned investments of the company will make about 7.5 billion drams.  In the next 7-10 years, about 250 jobs will be created.

As they say in the substantiation to the document, the property  complex is not used by CJSC for a long time and is in a hopeless  state. For today, there are no programs related to the implementation  of activities in the territory.

It is noteworthy that in the open access there is no information  about the buyer of LLC "A-S Investments".  Only in the state register  of legal entities ArmInfo discovered information that the company was  registered on February 22, 2018, the founder is citizen of Armenia  Gevorg A. Hakobyan. And according to the justification for the  government's decision, on February 23 the company applied to the  government, expressing its readiness to purchase the property complex  of the chemical plant with the aim of realizing industrial and other  business programs.

In particular, the company plans to establish a mechanical workshop  for the production of metal and wooden structures, a modern concrete  plant, a complex for the production and processing of building  materials, a centralized warehouse for building materials and raw  materials, a shop for the production of reinforced concrete and  concrete structures, rental folding areas equipped with the necessary  loading - loading equipment, small and medium-sized business premises  available for rent, hotel complex, exhibition hall and warehouse I  construction, agriculture and small and medium equipment, service  center, sales and rentals, service center and parking of heavy  construction, agricultural equipment and vehicles, parking for  vehicles used for interstate transportation.
