ArmInfo. The IMF will provide technical assistance to the RA State Revenue Committee in the next 2-3 years with a view to effectively implementing the envisaged reforms. This was stated during the visit of the IMF delegation to the SRC.
According to the press service of the ministry, during the meeting, referring to the reforms carried out by the Committee for one and a half years, the delegation noted remarkable and impressive results, appreciating the continued growth of revenues, the structural optimization of the Committee and a new way of organizing the work in this context.
The head of the SRC Vardan Harutyunyan noted that in the next two-three years the work of the Committee will be aimed at implementing measures to eliminate incomplete income declaration, prevention of tax evasion, fixation of sales turnover, etc. "We are determined to turn Armenia in a country where a favorable investment climate will be created, in the formation of which the tax policy is the most important tool, "he stressed.
According to the source, at the end of the meeting, the sides stressed the effectiveness of cooperation and expressed their readiness to continue it.
