Armenia and Georgia start developing combined tour packages

ArmInfo. Armenia and Georgia are starting to develop combined tour packages. Ara Khzmalyan, executive director of the Tourism Development and Development Fund of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, said this on March 17 during a press conference.

The decision, he said, was taken during the round-table talks in Georgia, an invitation to participate in which Armenia received from the Georgian side. "If we can offer combined tour packages, which will include a tour to Iran, Georgia and Armenia, we will be able to provide a significant inflow, for example, Chinese tourists. They are ready to overcome large distances, knowing that there are several directions for them, "the head of the Fund said.  More detailed information on the new joint initiative with Georgia, according to Khzmalyan, will be presented later, work in this direction has already begun.
