ArmInfo. Brussels Airlines has resumed regular flights on the Brussels-Yerevan-Brussels route since June 2. This was reported by the press service of the Central Administration of Civil Aviation of Armenia (CDCA).
It is planned that from June 2 to July 2, as well as from August 29 to October 17 from Yerevan airport, air flights will be operated once a week - on Saturday. And from July 3 to August 28, flights will be operated twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
It should be reminded that on February 28 the head of the Main Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia (GUGA) Sergey Avetisyan and deputy chairman of the Belgian airline Brussels Airlines Herman Carpentier discussed the prospects for the resumption of flights on the Brussels-Yerevan-Brussels route. Carpentier said that the airline seriously thought about the implementation of the flight, especially taking into account the positive dynamics and growth of passenger traffic in the aviation market of Armenia. Development data, as the representative of the airline indicated, can positively affect the provision of profitability of the route, which will link Armenia with Central Europe. The meeting was also attended by the chief manager of International Airports-Armenia CJSC Marcelo Vende, who also offered his assistance to the airline in the organization of flights.
