ArmInfo. Armenia takes part in the regional innovation forum for Europe and Central Asia, which takes place from 22 to 24 March in Bratislava. According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Economic Development and Investment, the World Bank in cooperation with the governments of Slovakia and Austria organizes the Forum.
According to the source, during the event, Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan will present the vision of the development of the innovation sphere in Armenia, including the directions, tools, mechanisms, challenges facing the innovative ecosystem of the RA, and directions for their solution. "The government attaches special importance to the development of a new strategy for the innovative development of Armenia, given the role of the sphere in terms of increasing economic competitiveness and productivity level, as well as in the context of the development of new directions of production," the ministry said in an official statement.
The Armenian delegation also included Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and IT Amalia Egoyan, Director of the Foundation "Enterprise Incubator" Bagrat Yengibaryan, head of the Public Council of "I-V Consulting" Sevak Oganesyan.
The purpose of the Forum is to promote regional cooperation in the field of innovative technologies, promote economic growth and create new jobs.
