ArmInfo. The second largest airline in Israel, Arkia ("I'll Soar"), will start regular flights on the route Tel Aviv-Yerevan-Tel Aviv.
As the press service of the GDCA told ArmInfo, the airline received the corresponding permission from the Main Department of Civil Aviation under the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Flights will begin to be performed from May 16, with the frequency of once a week on Wednesdays.
Arkia is the second largest airline in Israel. It was founded in 1949, and flights began to be performed since the 1950s. Currently, the airline performs regular and charter air transportation of passengers and cargo. Base airports in Israel: Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) and Dov Hoz (SDV).
Arkia's fleet consists of Boeing 757-300 (used for charter flights to Europe), Boeing 757-200 (used for charter flights to Europe and flights to Eilat from Ben Gurion airport), ATR 72 (used for domestic and foreign flights at close range) and Bombardier Dash 7 (used on flights inside the country and abroad for close distances).
