ArmInfo. The Italian company CARMAC Group in cooperation with Ltd "Vaba" in Vanadzor will open a plant for the production of anti-hail nets. This was announced on March 29 during the working visit of the Minister of Agriculture Ignaty Arakelyan to the Lori region. According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, I. Arakelyan considered it possible to launch production of anti-hail grids for grape, intensive and traditional gardens in Armenia by the end of the year.
Director of "Vaba" Ltd Armen Garachyan noted that the production process will be carried out in stages, and some of the raw materials will be imported from Italy. "We will issue a competitive and popular product, as the prices for anti-hail grids will be affordable because the main related parts will be manufactured here," he said, adding that the minimum period of production use will be 10-15 years.
The executive director of CARMAC Group Andrea Karapetyan noted that in addition to selling products in Armenia, the company intends to enter the export markets in the future.
The company CARMAC Group specializes mainly in wood processing, producing lines for sorting, facing and sawing, drying chambers for wood. Turns out "turnkey" plywood production, cogeneration plants for the production of electricity and heat using woody biomass. The production of anti-hail nets will, most likely, be a new direction for the development of the company involved in many projects in Russia and the CIS.
