As acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan stated, the company intends to import equipment and raw materials that will be used in the light industry, which is a priority for Armenia. Within the framework of the investment program, it is planned to create 175 new jobs with an average monthly salary of 192 thousand drams. As Karayan pointed out, the planned production volume will make 23 billion drams a year, of which production by 3.1 billion drams will be realized in Armenia, by 13.3 billion drams - it was exported to the countries of the Unified Energy System of Armenia, and by 6, 7 billion drams - to third countries.
On April 12 this year, "ABC Si Textile" LLC received a tax credit from the Armenian government in the form of a 3-year grace period for the payment of VAT on imported goods. The company, as announced, within the framework of the investment program, plans to establish textile production in the city of Artashat.
The company was founded on October 10, 2017, and its founders, according to the Unified State Register, are LLC Cottonton and Natcom Limited. In turn, the founders of the first company are citizens of RA Firas Mussalli Jacqui and Amin Mussalli Jacqui, and according to media publications the daughter of RPA deputy oligarch Samvel Aleksanyan (nicknamed "Lifik Samo" - Ed.)
