EDB provided Ameriabank $ 30 million for SME financing

ArmInfo. The Eurasian Development  Bank (EDB) and Ameriabank signed a $ 30 million loan agreement for  financial assistance to SME development in Armenia. The funds are  provided for a period of 4 years.

As the press service of the EDB informs, the implementation of the  project will promote the expansion of the possibilities of bank  lending, including financing for the development of industries in the  real sector of the economy.

"Small and medium businesses are of strategic importance for Armenia,  providing economic stability.  Credit funds will help SMEs of the  country to solve the problem of long-term financing, which is  necessary for capital investments and investments," the message says.

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is an international financial  organization established by Russia and Kazakhstan in January 2006 to  promote the development of the market economy of the participating  countries, their sustainable economic growth and the expansion of  mutual trade and economic ties. The authorized capital of the EDB is  $ 7 billion. The member states of the Bank are the Republic of  Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the  Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of  Tajikistan.
