ArmInfo.Acting Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Manukyan met with Saif-ur-Rehman Khan, the General Executive Director of the Redco international W.L.L company, and Son Donchen, President of the Chinese international group of companies PowerChina.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, during the meeting Ashot Manukyan stressed the importance of the visit of entrepreneurs to Armenia. He stressed that an effective cooperation has already been established with the Chinese company. Ioi presented the guests with the strategy of development of the country's energy sector until 2036, and in the context of the development of cooperation pointed to attractive projects in the field of renewable energy. Stressing that the priority task of the department headed by him is the export of electricity, Ashot Manukyan presented the construction projects for the second power unit of the Yerevan TPP, Shnokh, Meghri and Lori-Berd HPPs.
