Sweden is ready to intensify cooperation with Armenia in all spheres of mutual interest

ArmInfo. Sweden is ready to develop bilateral Armenian-Swedish relations in all spheres of mutual interest. This was during the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Vice Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Bjorn Sieder stated.

As the press service of the Government of Armenia reports, during the meeting the parties discussed the domestic political situation in the country. M. Grigoryan assured that the new government is doing and will do everything possible to ensure the social and economic development of Armenia. "The high level of publicity of the new government will contribute to its effective activities," he said.

The Vice Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, speaking of the latest developments in Armenia, noted with satisfaction that they testify to the high level of democracy in the country. At the same time he paid attention to the sense of responsibility and restraint shown by all political forces.

According to the RA National Statistical Service, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and Sweden increased by 2.2 times to $ 30 million in 2017. In particular, ekporta increased 5.2 times to $ 796.4 thousand, while imports -.. 2.1 times to $ 29.2 million.
